Le 'premier hyperlivre' publié en France arrive dans les bacs sous peu. Le Sens des Choses, sous la direction de Jacques Attali, est une sorte de prolongation de l'émission-radio éponyme (sur France Culture) ou Attali et Stéphanie Bonvicini recevaient, cet été, de grands témoins du monde social et économique apportant un éclairage sur les causes de la crises et les bouleversements à venir.
Si vous êtes munis d'un téléphone vous permettant l'accès à l'internet, continuel chaudron de connaissances matriockesques (1), cet hyperlivre vous donnera les moyens d'aller plus loin. Alors, l'hypercontenu (hypermedia) après l'hypertexte?
La graphiste californienne, Anne Burdick, avait en 2007 participé à une conférence sur l'EBR (Electronical Book Review) liée aux nouvelles fonctions de l'écriture et de la lecture: A Distinct Kind of Reading and Writing, était un panel de discussion qui a permis de mettre en relation le travail spécifique mais perméable du designer de l'interface de lecture, du programmeur de cette interface et, bien sûr, de l'éditeur (2).

Anne Burdick explique que l'évolution de son métier de graphic designer s'oriente vers le design d'espaces pour l'écrit (spaces for writing). Elle avait déjà exploré ce principe dans son travail de mise en forme du livre de N. Katherine Hayles, Writing Machines publié en 2002. Le livre de Hayles est comme une expérience dont le but avoué était de forger un vocabulaire et une série d'outils critiques réactifs au large spectre de nouveautés significatives dans le champ des textes électroniques et imprimés (3).
Étudiante à la CalArts (sous la houlette de Mr Keedy) à sa période glorieuse des 90s, on ressent dans le travail de Burdick pour Writing Machines toute la culture Émigré, ce magazine révolutionnaire (basé à San Francisco) qui agita les mises en pages modernistes dans un vent postmoderne inspirant.
Ce qui fera dire à Andrew Blauvelt (directeur artistique du Walker Art Center) que "à l'âge de l'immatériel, Writing Machines démontre que toutes les formes de littératures sont inextricablement matérielles." (4)

Have you ever thought anent the processes from which a book is passed before coming into your hands? It is not a stark path to write down a book as well publishing it. Writing in itself is a hard job. So why not we deliver on the obstacles and hurdles in the way of writing a book? Why don't we stump on getting help from book writing software?
